A MODEL COMMUNITY

OPERATION ALTERNATIVE - ISN'T VOODOO ECONOMICS!

There has been a great deal of publicity about American firms using offshore sweatshops to produce goods for sale in the American marketplace. The criticism has been well-meaning, but somewhat destructive, focusing upon some operations that don't meet the wage scales expected in Hollywood, but still provide enough to support a lot of people who would otherwise starve to death. Companies spotlighted simply close, go elsewhere and pay the same wages. So it has been with certain assembly projects servicing well-known American corporate entities in Haiti.

Without providing an alternative the loss of each Haitian assembly job removes support for roughly 10 people who depended on it for basic survival.

We have an alternate solution!!

We need the support of American/International industry!!

A major American construction firm, operating on a global basis, has offered $10,000,000 in funding to create a purpose-built community in Haiti to support assembly, or other industry looking for a cost-effective, skilled, and highly motivated work force within 600 miles of Miami... and six hours by air, from Los Angeles.

An internationally recognized firm of civil and structural engineers has agreed to coordinate this exciting concept.

The team will create a self-contained community with roads, electricity, running water, waste disposal, landscaping, soccer field, medical clinic, school/community center, store, purpose-built factories, warehouses and, most importantly, 1700 housing units, each with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom.

All units will utilize FIBERCRETE - a mixture of cement and natural fibers, providing a lighter stronger material that is fire and bug-proof. The structures will withstand a 120 mph wind. Our plant, for the production of FIBERCRETE building panels, will be amortized over a 12 month period but will have a physical life in excess of 10 years, making follow-up projects possible as the unit is moved to other locations...

This dream cannot succeed without international support. We need jobs to fill the factories, to support the people, to save the nation. We are not looking for charity. We have a pool of highly motivated workers who have proven their abilities before the Haitian assembly industry was decimated in 1991.

HELP US CREATE A MODEL COMMUNITY, DEDICATED TO THE GENERATION OF HIGH QUALITY GOODS AND SERVICES FOR THE INTERNATIONAL MARKETPLACE. BY HELPING US SAVE HAITI.... YOU WILL HELP YOURSELVES THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN THIS SHOWCASE PROJECT.
